Giving Back Through Art: My Contribution to Q Christian Fellowship
Next month, I’ll be attending the Q Christian Fellowship Conference in Atlanta. This annual gathering is a powerful space for LGBTQ+ Christians, allies, and parents—a place for connection, healing, and questions. I’m proud to contribute to this life-changing organization by donating one of my original paintings for their auction.
A Way to Give Back
I’ve done this before—at the 2022 DC conference, my painting Loving Pride sold for $500, directly supporting Q Christian Fellowship’s work.
At the time, I had been listening to a podcast about how we can bless others. As someone living with a disability and limited funds, I’ve often mourned the fact that I will most likely be the person others have to bless. But then it hit me: I could give back in my own way by donating one of my original paintings.
This year, I’m donating a bigger painting 16x20, so I’m hopeful it will raise even more money to support Q Christian Fellowship’s work. Knowing my art can make a difference means a lot to me.
Why It Matters
The work of Q Christian Fellowship saves lives by fostering an inclusive, affirming space for LGBTQ+ Christians and families. I’m honored to support that mission and share my art with a community that has given me so much.
Booth Space at the Event
As a thank-you, the organizers are providing me with a booth to showcase and sell my art. I'll be selling Stickers and Art Prints. If you’ll be at the conference, I’d love for you to stop by and say hello!
About the Painting - Sanctuary
The painting I’m donating features two silhouetted figures sitting beneath a bold, dark cross. The vibrant background is filled with vivid colors —blending together to symbolize, hope, and transformation. The figures’ posture evokes reflection, peace, and connection, creating a visual dialogue about faith, identity, and belonging.
The combination of the cross and radiant colors reflects the idea that faith and love can coexist beautifully—no matter who you are.
